How We Are Organized
National Level
Annual Convention The highest authority of the Convention, meeting annually in February. All major decisions are made by the gathered member churches.
Board of Managers Meets quarterly to oversee Convention activities between annual sessions. Comprises national and regional officers.
Executive Committee Meets quarterly to manage day-to-day affairs. Includes the President, Vice Presidents, Directors, and other key officers.
Regional Level
Liberia is divided into five regions, each covering three counties:

Each region has:
- Regional Vice President – Administrative leadership
- Regional Moderator – Ecclesiastical leadership (Association head)
- Regional Board of Managers – Oversight of regional activities
County Level
Each of Liberia’s 15 counties has a County Coordinator who:
- Serves as the administrative leader for Baptist work in the county
- Meets quarterly with pastors, deacons, and church leaders
- Coordinates Convention programs at the local level
- Reports to the Regional Vice President
Local Church Level
Individual Baptist churches are the foundation of the Convention. Each church:
- Maintains its autonomy and sovereignty
- Participates in the Convention through messengers
- Sends representatives to annual and regional sessions
- Contributes to Convention programs and offerings
Auxiliaries
Four auxiliaries serve specific constituencies:
- LBSSU – Sunday School Union
- LBWMU – Women’s Missionary Union
- LBMU – Men’s Union
- LBYPU – Youth & Young People’s Union
Associations
Five Regional Baptist Associations handle ecclesiastical matters:
- Ordination of ministers and deacons
- Constitution of new churches
- Discipline and accountability
- Training and fellowship
